The lighthouse can be seen blinking at night from many of the windows in the houses of Horse Island; a calming and assuring sentiment that you don't want to miss again. The island offers an impressive combination of nature and healthy lifestyle. With approximately 65 hectares of land Horse Island is home to a world of extraordinary flora and fauna. With its beautiful white beaches and fantastic picturesque bays the island oozes a romantic and wild charm.

The visitors on Horse Island will find everything for the island-life that they need and much more: White beaches and picturesque bays, fishing spots, tennis court, barbeque places and a video shop, a gym with sun bed, massage waterfall, a helicopter landing base and lots of peace and quiet and relaxation.

Horse Island is quickly reached by aircraft, with a taxi covering the remaining short stretch, or take the ferry and bring your own car with you directly to Ireland. The nearest airport is Cork Airport.
