Horse Island is situated in a current of the Gulf Stream and in one of the most beautiful bays in Ireland, the Roaring Water Bay, which is easily reachable by boat in 15 minutes. Eight sea miles from Horse Island is the worldfamous lighthouse "Fastnet Rock" located, the turning point for international regattas. The lighthouse can be seen blinking at night from many of the windows in the houses of Horse Island; a calming and assuring sentiment that you don't want to miss again. The island offers an impressive combination of nature and healthy lifestyle. With approximately 65 hectares of land Horse Island is home to a world of extraordinary flora and fauna. With its beautiful white beaches and fantastic picturesque bays the island oozes a romantic and wild charm.

Three natural stone cottages are for rent on the island. These holiday homes are luxuriously furnished. Five star comfortness on 147 m²: luxurious beds, a double whirlpool with a champagne-cooler in the bedrooms, a sauna, wood and peat fire places and satellite TV.

The visitors on Horse Island will find everything for the island-life that they need and much more: White beaches and picturesque bays, fishing spots, tennis court, barbeque places and a video shop, a gym with sun bed, massage waterfall, a helicopter landing base and lots of peace and quiet and relaxation.

Horse Island offers a variety of activities: torch lit dinners and bonfires on the beach, smoking self- caught fish, figure and fitness training, professional kite flying and lots more. If you want, you can stay over night in a pirate ship that is based on the rocks of the island, from there you have a fantastic view of Fastnet Rock. A real "Hot Irish Whiskey" is awaiting you...

Horse Island is quickly reached by aircraft, with a taxi covering the remaining short stretch, or take the ferry and bring your own car with you directly to Ireland. The nearest airport is Cork Airport.
